He cannot talk about music without talking about passion. His name is immediately associated with the vibrant tune that introduces "Misiķn Imposible", but he has also composed more than one hundred scores for films and television, from "El rey del juego" to "Bullitt" and from "Dirty Harry" to Saura's recently released "Tango". However, he is not only a mythical figure in the world of soundtrack composition, but also a first-class jazz musician who has worked together with Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald and Count Basie, among others. Pianist, composer and conductor Lalo Schifrin (Buenos Aires, 1932), the winner of four Grammy awards, is a regular visitor to Barcelona, a city which, in his own words, he would find it easy to live in.
