left many streets in Barcelona's outlying neighbourhoods without a name. In other cases,
the authorities simply seem to have run out of plates to identify the most recondite
corners of some city districts. However, in the early nineteen eighties, popular
imagination - with the practical support of paint - undertook to make up for such
negligence. And Pere MonÚs was there to capture it all with his camera.
