The name Juli Capella evokes nearly everything about Barcelona design. Less than forty years old, his name is linked to most of the initiatives in the field of design in this city over the past two decades. His achievements include establishing the first magazine on design in Spain —De Diseņo, together with Quim Larrea—, he has been curator for in the region of thirty exhibitions —including Casa Barcelona, which was a landmark for Barcelona design, and Diseņo Industrial Espaņol, with Daniel Giralt-Miracle, Pedro Nueno and Larrea— and he has won eleven prizes.
