Since Franco's death and practically up until the first victory of the Socialist Party at a general election, there has been a confluence of cultural tendencies initially rooted in different traditions, but which all envisaged a change in personal lifestyles that went beyond political reforms. Even though he was but a small child when that particular period started, its spirit left a deep imprint on the life and professional trajectory of Andreu Catalā (Barcelona, 1963), musician and photographer, the son and grandson of two photographers who were important figures in the history of Catalunya.
