The Boqueria Market

It is the market of Barcelona. This was true in the past, when it was the city's only market and it still is true today for the thousands of visitors who visit it and photograph it every year, and also for the inhabitants of the districts of Barcelona who do their daily shopping there or go there in for special purchases. It is the Barcelona market par excellence. The Boqueria market was the first, and today it is still a landmark for the streams of tourists flowing down the Rambla.
